Parent and Community Members of Rough Rock Community School
The Navajo Nation is confronted with difficult choices concerning the reopening
of the schools. It no different here at Rough Rock Community School. However,
with many discussions, the safety of our children being priority, and
input from the parents through surveys, we have decided to reopen our school
with Distance Learning for the first semester. At that juncture, we can/will modify our plan. Our decisions were based on numerous concerns. Parents and families are not ready to allow their children to physically return to school based on the surveys we have collected but, parents do not want their children(s) falling between in their education. We will continue to share information on our website to give updates. We encourage all parents to reenrollment your children(s), our website has
documents that can be downloaded.
