Welcome Back to RRCS 2022-2023! The summer has been very warm and we have received some rainfall for our crops and gardens. Our windmill has received much air so that tanks are full for our livestock. This blessing is welcomed and we have begun our school year with positive steps. Here are several items that we would like for you to read:

1. RRCS promotes and encourages each parent to speak to their child using the Dine Language at home and practice speaking Dine.

2. RRCS has open enrollment each day. Pick up an enrollment packet at the K8 site and the High School. Applications are available on line at the school district website: http://www.roughrock.k12.az.us/

3. RRCS has begun its Rodeo Roping Club for students. The club is designed for grades 5-12. Students may sign up at the high school and at the K8 school sites. Students will be given permission slips and the Arizona High School Rodeo Association application to return. Please fill out the permission slip and the application completely and return to the school.

4. RRCS is has the bike club for middle school and high school students. The bike club began over the summer and we have students who are active with the bike club. Permission slips are available at the high school.

5. RRCS requires that all students wear face masks and follow all CDC rules when attending school.

6. RRCS has students returning for face to face instruction for the SY2022-2023. Please have your child complete their homework and have a restful night as they prepare for school the next day.

7. Mosquitoes are outside and please have your child use mosquito spray to protect themselves.
